I have owned this car since 1996 and have carried out all the mods
and repairs since then. it spends most of its life in the garage being
tinkered with, hence the mileage. it has gotten to the point now where
i don't drive it at all as i have another job and other cars
Upon buying the Shell, it was clear that it needed work so it was duly
packed off to a garage close by for the panels and paintwork (i don't
do bodywork at all). this unfortunately was a nightmare as foolishly
i said "no rush guys"!!!
3 1/2 years later and my car emerged just in time for the 1999 Riviera
run!
The original engine I fitted was built by a firm in the midlands and
expired after 700 miles due to a snapped crank. this took me a year
to get around to rebuilding and fixing and never really ran corectly
after, hence the tinkering. then after the Photo shoot in 2002 I noticed
Imperfections in the paint so it went into a paint shop again for another
7 Months for a full respray.
I finally got fed up of messing around with the old motor and promptly
removed it. When this engine was removed, i got this swiftune motor
& 5 speed box and again it took me the best part of 18 months to
get around to sorting it. that kind of brings us to now. the motor has
literally been up the road and back for MOT which it flew through at
the end of feb, and since a little mileage to bed in the bearings. oil
& filter will be changed prior to sale
I live way down south in deepest Cornwall and as such, the furthest
this car has been is Newquay for the riviera runs. due to this situation,
I am finally looking at selling Her as the good lady keeps requesting.
in all i have spent well over 13K on this car.
among the items below, some of the key points are New rear subframe
and radius arms, 5SPEED GEARBOX, Swiftune 1380 engine, most all panels
new.

ENGINE
The engine is brand new built. it has covered at the time of writing
a maximum of 200 MILES since rebuild. I bought this
engine with just under 20K on it and replaced the mains, Big Ends, Timing
belt and Thrusts as a precautionary measure.

The Gearbox is a 5SPEED Jack Knight box with a twin cross pin diff fitted.
