Engine/transmission Spec

• 1275cc
• Converted by Janspeed Engineering at 8143 miles to ‘S' spec to include twin 1 ¼ S.U. carburettors, Janspeed LCB and Extractor exhaust, Big valve Ported gas-flowed head, Oil cooler and Twin Petrol Tanks.
• Engine replaced with better spec at 61,000 miles due to piston failure of no.4. Replaced with MG spec 1275 engine/transmission unit which has 10.5:1 compression, better flowing head, mild road/sport cam, 3.44:1 final drive differential. All rest of engine was as Janspeed conversion

Suspension

• Std Mini all round as per factory apart from front subframe is solid mounted to improve handling

Interior

• All as factory including factory upgrade ½ leather trim front recaro's (very rare!), walnut fittings to dash and door cappings, rear seat belts, 4 speakers with Blaupunkt upgrade to rear shelfs, head unit Blaupunkt Kingston DJ with available 12 disc unit for boot.

This is a lovely Factory produced car with no modifications other than those mentioned to improve parts that would wear or impair vehicle enjoyment. Only 75 of these were ever produced which Makes for an exceptionally rare car with the running costs of a Mini!

You can feel safe in the knowledge that barring for Mini shows, you will not drive down the street and be confronted by a car exactly the same, but do be prepared and set aside time to go anywhere as when you stop to fill up/ get shopping etc., people will want to talk about this exquisite motor car!!
